Classic Recreations: 1969 Mustang Boss 429

Classic Recreations, the Oklahoma-based custom car shop has been modifying high-performance vehicles for more than 15 years. Each project is built-to-order and takes about four months to complete. The shop produces some of the finest custom cars in the world, and we can’t get enough. More recently, the shop has acquired a license from Ford to bring back some oldies but goodies from the 1960s: The Boss 302, Boss 429, and the Mach 1.

The 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 will debut at the 2018 SEMA show at the end of the month. And if this teaser sketch is any indication, it will be absolutely epic. The sketch hints at a black design with modern wheels and a rear spoiler to boot. The car is fit with a 429 V-8 engine with a stroker kit boosting displacement to 514 cubic inches. The estimated horsepower is about 815. You probably could’ve guessed, but the cost of a Classic Recreations vehicle isn’t exactly cheap. For a Boss 429, you’re looking at about $209,000 to start. The 2018 SEMA show starts October 30th in Las Vegas. Oh and don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated as soon as this beauty is unveiled.
