Special Edition 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Dodge announced this week that the brand will be offering a Charger Hellcat Octane Edition. Although the model will not offer any additional power to the existing 707-horsepower, the special edition muscle car will participate in the industry’s blackout trend and sport wheels from the Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320.

Color options for the Octane Edition include either Pitch Black or White Knuckle for the exterior. Included will also be exterior badges, grille, and decklid. Other updates include a pair of Satin Black center stripes with Octane Red accents, red Brembo brake calipers, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. The cabin keeps the same red and black color scheme but incorporates a Houndstooth design on the seats to keep things interesting. The Octane Edition adds an extra $1,495 onto the starting price of a standard Charger Hellcat ($68,740), which works out to $70,235. So what do we think, is it worth it? Let us know your thoughts.
