The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 With 760-HP

If you’re like us, you’ve heard bits and pieces about the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500. Luckily, Ford has released the information we’ve been waiting for, the power. The automaker confirmed that the GT500 will produce 760-horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque. Up to this point, Ford advertised the muscle car as having “700++ horsepower,” and we gotta say, we’re impressed with the specs.

The car utilizes the GT350’s 5.2-liter V8 with an added supercharger and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Ford is reporting that the muscle car does the quarter-mile in less than 11 seconds hitting a top speed of 180 miles per hour. The 2020 Shelby GT500 goes on sale this summer, but the price is still unknown. We’ll keep you posted.
