The Simple Life: 1950 Plymouth Suburban

Today we’re bringing you a classic. It’s a 1960 Suburban two-door wagon, and it’s simplicity is all we could ask for. Back in the day it was powered by a 217ci flathead straight-six with a single carburetor, producing about 97 horsepower through a three-speed manual transmission. The best part? Leno still takes the Suburban out for nearby errands. “There’s just something that’s so relaxing about driving this.” Leno says. “The whole world slows down.” Check out the full episode, right here.
