1927 Ford: Double-Trouble
“There’s no way you’re going to stack two engines right next to each other, with a one belt system, four blowers to one transmission and make it work.” That was the mindset of engineers and friends alike when Gordon Tronson set out to build the ultimate hot rod: the twin-engined 1927 ford. He started with the body, got the engines then the rest fell into place. Not only did Tronson successfully install two working engines into a car, they’re impressively effective.
