1979 Trans Am Firebird
Visiting the garage today is a an American classic, made famous by the Smokey and the Bandit movie. It’s a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, courtesy of Audrain Automobile Museum. The car is exactly how it left the factory. That’s right, no modifications, no add-on. So we can imagine that driving this thing is like taking a trip back to 1979. Take a look at the episode below and find out why Jay says that Firebird never got the recognition they deserve, and why he believes they were always overshadowed by Camaro. Enjoy.
