2018 Mustang Convertible
The 2018 Mustang Convertible has a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and the traditional 5.0-liter V8 under the hood. Both can be paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission co-developed with GM.
Notable features on the new convertible include a restyled front end with angled headlights, a new grille shape, and a lowered hood. Friends over at MotorTrend reported that, “designer Melvin Betancourt said the new vents, front fascia, a lower valance, new upper and lower grilles, LED headlamps and smaller but brighter fog lamps make the car fresh. The rear also has been updated with tweaked taillights that mimic the headlight’s chevron styling element as well as quad exhaust tips from the 2016 Shelby GT350.” The Mustang will also offer a new digital gauge cluster, more safety features like Pre-Collision Assist, an active exhaust to customize the sound, and a MagneRide suspension project planning software.
