2020 Goodwood Festival of Speed Postponed Amid COVID-19
The coronavirus outbreak has caused events all over the globe to be cancelled, and for more reason than one has been devastating to all industry types and populations. The impact the pandemic has had on the automotive industry includes postponing global production, and cancelling major auto shows in order to keep the public safe. The cancellations started with the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, then the New York Auto Show, with the latest being the cancellation of the 2020 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The legendary festival was scheduled to take place from July 9th-12th. In a press release, the organizers said that new dates will hopefully be confirmed in late summer or early fall. Although we’re bummed to have to wait for our favorite auto events to be rescheduled, it’s for the best for public health! We hope everyone is at home with family staying healthy. Be well!
