Hennessey Made: The Challenger SRT Demon with 1,013 HP

We know by now that if Hennessey Performance Engineering is involved, the project is likely to be insane. The Dodge Demon is a street-legal, 840-horsepower coupe, and a tuning shop has managed to take this monster to a new level. Hennessey Performance now has a Demon making 1,013 horsepower… at the wheels.

Appropriately named the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon HPE1200, the car trades in the 2.7-liter supercharger for a 4.5-liter engine. Also included in Hennesseys upgrades are new headers and fuel injectors. At the end of the day, the car you see here pumps out 1,013 rear-wheel power and 954 pound-feet of torque.
