Pair of 1969 L88 Corvettes Head to Auction

It’s rare that an L88 Corvette ends up on the auction block, never mind two. But who doesn’t love a package deal? The two C3 L88 Corvettes you see here will head to Kissimmee, Florida for the Mecum auction. Included in the pair is a 1969 Corvette coupe and a 1969 Corvette convertible. Both pack the L88 big-block V-8 engine. Only 216 L88’s were made, which makes this one rare set of cars.

A few more specs on the rides:

• 427-cubic-inch L88 V-8 engine
• 430 horsepower (although dyno test results showed well over 500-hp)
• Muncie M22 4-speed manual transmission
