A Mustang Mach 1 Was Found Dumped In A River

A 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was one of six classic cars that were left to rot in this Portland, Oregon river. Usually when we find abandoned cars, they are gathering dust in a barn, or in a field somewhere. Thanks to Adventures with Purpose on YouTube, we know about their recent find. These guys specialize in recovering cars submerged in water, and were recently tipped-off about a girl who dumped her boyfriend’s truck in a river 20 years ago after he cheated on her.

When the divers got there to recover the truck, they were surprised to find a collection that would make any car enthusiast weep. Included in the sunken treasure was a Mazda RX-7 and a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. All of the cars have understandably seen better days, but hopefully with some TLC, they can be brought back to their former glory. Check it out, right here.
