As of now, the future of the beloved Chevrolet Camaro remains a mystery. The rumors that have circulated range from the current generation being the last, to a hybrid upgrade, all the way to a complete redesign that would include an all-electric vehicle.

While we wait for more solid information regrding what’s to come, we can reflect on the history of a car that has left quite the mark on the automotive industry. Enter, the 1985 IROC-Z. IROC stood for International Race of Champions that had it’s last race in 2006. the IROC-Z was originally an option package for the Z28, and gained status thanks to its combination of power, handling, and value.
