Sprint Cup Series: Ned Jarrett and The Ford Galaxie
It’s been more than 50 years since the Ford Galaxie crossed the finish line in first at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship. Fans can attribute a lot to the car and just as much to its driver Ned Jarrett. The duo (Jarrett and his Galaxie) secured 13 wins and nine poles that season not to mention 36 top-three finishes.
