A Car Fit for Ford and Ferrari: The 1952 Barchetta

This is the Ferrari Barchetta. Taken straight from the museum to Jay Leno’s Garage, this car remains it its original 1952 condition from the paint to the V12 engine. This Barchetta or “little boat” was a special gift from Enzo Ferrari himself to Henry Ford II with the foresight of a company merger. Ferrari made sure this Barchetta was stocked with a 2.7-liter racing engine, white wall tires and other cues from American automotive design:
