1916 Hybrid: The Owen Magnetic

Owen Magnetic was a pioneer of American hybrid electric luxury automobiles. Manufactured between 1915 and 1922, the brand was known for the use of an electromagnetic transmission and early adoption of electric series hybrid drivetrain. On the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage (pandemic edition), our host introduces us to a 1916 Hybrid Owen Magnetic.
