The Mustang with 1,000-HP
Modified Mustangs are always a fan favorite at the annual SEMA Show. Typically, most focus on the latest generation of the ‘Stang. Others stick with the classics, like the “Vicious,” a 1965 Mustang that has been entirely reworked, and now houses a multitude of awesome features and modifications.
The Kustoms crew hooked this oldie-but-goodie up with a 5.1-liter V8 from Ford Performance, but added boost. A lot of it. There’s a pair of Precision turbochargers found on each bank, while on the intake side there’s a Magnuson TVS supercharger. With these things, (plus more) upgraded, the result is a figure over 1,000 horsepower (you can imagine the sound of that MagnaFlow exhaust). All of this, plus a custom roof and modified bodywork, is set ontop of a custom Art Morrison chassis that utilizes Corvette-based Ridetech Triple Adjustable coilovers.
