Rare Recovery: The 1962 Facel Vega

It’s hard to believe that under all that dust and dirt sits the ultimate status symbol of the 1960s. Yes, this is the Facel Vega. In its day, the French Grand Tourer came at a Rolls-Royce price and everybody who was anybody drove one. Facel has been out of business for quite some time now but we all have that fleeting memory of this beloved GT. The car shown above was discovered in a Minnesota barn then sold by Bonhams Auctions in Paris earlier this year. Our words to the new owner: we envy you.
