A Regal Rolls-Royce Wraith Is Up For Auction
A royal Rolls-Royce has rolled onto the auction block. This specific ride is that of Princess Margaret, who enjoyed riding in the Silver Wraith II for 22 years. The car even carried her children to her funeral service at Windsor Castile in 2002. A stretch version of the standard issue Silver Shadow, this example was delivered in 1980 and was equipped with a cast metal coat of arms, a Union Flag and pole and a blue light atop the roof to indicate when the monarch was onboard. The exterior Cardinal Red Metallic finish and Everflex roof give its unique style.
It’s got just over 47,000 miles on the dash, and recently underwent a tune up to the sound of over $4,900, indicating this ride is ready for the road. Given its unique history and regal beginnings, we predict this ride will go home with a very high bidder.
