Black on Black Beauty: The Duntov Turbo Corvette

We all love a good Corvette but today we’re bringing in the big guns. This is the 1979 Custom Duntov Turbo Corvette. The one pictured is number 24 of 32 and it all started with Bob Schuller of American Custom Industries. When Schuller teamed up with Zora Arkus-Dontov (aka father of the Corvette) great things were bound to happen. They called these great things the Duntov Turbo Series. These ‘vettes pack a turbocharged L48 350 V8 under the hood and the custom interior is just the cherry on top. It’s not officially Friday until you’ve checked out this ride. Enjoy.
