Dallas Auction Will Host More Than 1,000 Muscle Cars

Talk about hitting the jackpot. More than 1,000 muscle cars are set to cross the auction block at Mecum’s even in Dallas, Texas. A few of the cars you can expect to see include:

• 1969 Dodge Daytona
• 1971 Plymouth Hemi GTX (one of 19 produced with an automatic transmission)
• 1968 Dodge Hemi Dart LO23 Super Stock (one of 80 produced)
• 1970 Buick GSX
• 1970 Buick GS

Oh, and as a special treat, the 1968 Highland Green Mustang in Steve McQueen’s “Bullitt” will be on display for the duration of the auction. The Bullitt is set to hit the auction block in January next year. The Dallas event runs from September 4th – 7th. More to come.
