Designed for Purpose: The Lancia 037

When all-wheel-drive became the norm back in the ‘80s, Lancia knew it had to switch gears. Enter the 037: the successor to the Stratos. This new model would become the last rear-wheel-drive car to win the WRC Manufacturers’ Championship. Though 200 street versions have been produced, the 037 Stradale is pure racecar.
