Fast and Fuel-Efficient: The Trident Iceni Magna
The name Iceni originates from a tribe in ancient Britain that rebelled against the Roman invasion. Today, the Trident Iceni rebels against typical sustainability. Trident Sports Cars Ltd. has created a supercar that runs on regular diesel, kerosene, paraffin or biodiesel. The Trident Iceni Magna (shown above) uses a modified Duramax diesel engine from General Motors taking it from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds with a top speed over 190 miles per hour. The Magna coupe gets about 58 miles per gallon. Is this the world’s fastest and most fuel efficient diesel sports car? Only time will tell.
