Ford Focus RS vs. Toyota GT86

Well, well, well. What do we have here? An all-wheel drive hatch challenging Toyota’s first rear-wheel drive sports coupe in ages. The Japanese car being challenged is fit with skinny low-grip tires and a driveshaft down the GT86’s sagittal plane, allowing the 205 horsepower boxer-four to hit some serious drifts. Knowing all of this, we would usually tell the Focus to take a hike. But, the RS has a trick up its sleeve. The name of said trick? “Drift mode.” Shocking, we know.
