Ford Gives Mustang A European Birthday Celebration

Ford is celebrating Mustang’s 55th anniversary with a special edition car exclusively for Europe. The Mustang55 is based on the GT and has a 5.0-liter V8. Although the 55 will have a slew of cosmetic updates, extra power is not one of them. We should also note that European buyers can opt for a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that is not part of the celebration series.

Noteworthy modifications include:

• Hood and side-stripes
• Special badging
• Optional rear spoiler
• Coupe models will have a black roof
• Gloss-black 19-inch wheels
• Black grilles in the front bumper
• Carbon-fiber dashboard trim
• Leather-wrapped center console
