Head to Head: Jeep Trackhawk vs. Challenger Hellcat
Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another insane match up on the drag strip carried out by none other than Hennessey Performance. In order to keep up with the BMW 567-hp X5 M and the Porsche 570-hp Cayenne Turbo S, Jeep put a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 under the hood of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and behold, the Trackhawk. The Trackhawk sends all 707-hp straight to all four wheels and ultimately upstages another FCA vehicle, the new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody.
Before you watch the race, we want to point out that both of these vehicles are completely stock. This is uncharacteristic for Hennessey, but we dig it, right down to the stock tires. Upon takeoff, the Trackhawk immediately gets the lead and is able to maintain it. The secret ingredient? The all-wheel drive, of course. All that power being sent to all four wheels makes for a ridiculous SUV. Hats off to you, Jeep.
