Headed To Auction: Ford Mustang GT500 #001
Ford announced last week that the first Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will head to the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, Arizona auction in January. The proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The lucky winner will not only have the legendary pony car, but will also contribute a pretty penny to charity. That’s a win-win if you ask us.
What we know so far about the GT500:
- 5.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine
- More than 700 horsepower
- 7-speed dual-clutch automatic
- 20-inch wheels
- Brembo brakes
The debut is set for January 14th in Detroit. Until then, stay tuned.
