Hennessey Venom With 1,000-HP

It was only weeks ago that Hennessey revealed its HPE1000 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock. And now, they might’ve just come up with its direct competitor: The Hennessey Venom 1000 package for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Now we know that the stock GT500 is nothing to turn our nose up at, with an output of 760-hp and 625 lb-ft of torque from its 5.2-liter supercharged V8. The Venom 1000 elevates those numbers to a staggering 1,000-hp and 850 lb-ft, but drivers should know they’ll need E85 gas to get the most out of it. Check it out, right here.
