Listen To The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Ford stunned the crowd on Monday at the Detroit auto show with the debut of the latest Mustang: the 2020 Shelby GT500. The 5.2-liter V-8 engine with its 2.65-liter Eaton supercharger makes some serious noise. So serious, in fact, that it will only pass the California noise regulation in “Normal” mode. If the car is put into “Track” mode, the sound is almost deafening. Ford hasn’t released the horsepower, but with a supercharged V-8 like this, we’d venture to guess around 700-hp.
