Mustang-Swapped Camaro
Over the years, we’ve seen a whole bunch of Chevy Camaro restomods. This one in particular might not sit well with Chevy fans. For the last two years, Gavin Trace Simon has been building a custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro with a Ford Coyote V8 engine from the Camaro’s rival, the Ford Mustang. The car originally belonged to Gavin’s father, and was one of his most prized possessions. It hasn’t hit the road since 2005 when his father drove it to escape Hurricane Katrina and overheated it.
After Gavin bought it from his father and made the decision to restore it, he realized the original engine had a cracked block. Instead of replacing it with a 350 crate engine, he wanted to do something unique and fitted it with a Coyote V8 from his Ford Mustang drag car. So what do we think? Sick or sacrilegious? See it for yourself below and let us know your thoughts.
