On The Drag: C8 Corvette vs. Tesla Model 3

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has a starting price of just under $60k, and with a 6.2-liter V8 sending 495-hp and 465 lb-ft of torque to the rear with the Z51 package, it’s one of the best performance bargains on the market right now. The ‘Vette puts up numbers like 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds, and tops speeds of 194 mph. But, as staggering as those numbers are, and as much as we love to be in Chevrolet’s corner, it’s no match for the instant power and torque generated by a fully electric powertrain. Don’t believe us?
