Pebble Beach Bound: 1950 Mercury Custom
This is a 1950 “Leo Lyon” Mercury custom and it’s headed to Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. But before this ride hits the beach, it will undergo a total restoration. So far, the body has been straightened and primed, with a Buick Nailhead V8 placed in the engine bay. This Merc is about to transform from a seatless shell into something worthy of the Concours field. The team working on this project has a little less than 70 days to make magic happen. Check it out, right here:

If someone had never been to the Pebble Beach Concours before, seeing this vehicle destined for the green would give a very misleading impression of what that event is like.
