Putting a Price on Heritage: Jaguar’s New Car Collection
Jaguar just got richer – in classic cars that is. The company has just announced its purchase of the world’s largest British car collection. Previously owned by James Hull, the 543 cars in the collection include some rare vehicles, including 130 Jaguars, pre-war cars and more. Jaguar has not revealed how much they paid for this massive collection but it’s rumored to be worth over £100 million. Now that they’ve acquired it, Jaguar doesn’t intend for this collection to ever leave British hands. Sorry, America.
