SEMA Stunner: All-Electric 1969 Chevrolet Camaro
What happens when you swap out a Camaro’s V8 for a 320-hp electric powertrain? Well, beautiful, beautiful things. Exhibit A: The Ford Mustang Lithium. The all-electric muscle car uses an 800-volt battery and dual electric motor system to generate over 1,000 lb-ft of instant torque. The point of showcasing modified classics like this one is to demonstrate how easy it is to install the brand’s new fully-integrated electric conversion kit. The kit includes an advanced modular battery system, high-power AC induction motor, and transmission adapter. The kit is so easy to build that it’s being compared to building blocks. Check out this beauty that’s on display at SEMA, right now. Enjoy.
