This Shelby Cobra Just Sold For $3 Million
The annual RM Sotheby’s Scottsdale auction was last week, and you’re not going to believe the sales. Every year, countless automotive rarities go up for auction, and this year they racked up over $36 million when it was all said and done. One of the stars of the show was this gorgeous 1966 Shelby 427 Semi-Competition Cobra, which sold for a staggering $2.95 million. This is around half a million more than its original estimate, earning the RM Sotheby’s high sales award. Sure, it went for a steep price, but this Cobra is described as “arguably one of the finest, most original and correct” examples, and we agree. Check it out for yourself, right here:
