The Audi Rally Car With A Range Rover Chassis and a Buick V8
Talk about a modified ride! This particular ride was designed particularly to tackle the Dakar rally. The Quattro is one of the greatest in rally history, but what you see here isn’t your average gravel-ready car. This desert stormer is the product of Dakar veteran Franco de Paoli, who had the idea to merge the German sports coupe with a modified Range Rover chassis and engine.
Underneath the hood you’ll find a 3.5-liter V8 engine from a Rover that, interestingly enough, started it’s life as a Buick engine. Check out that and more, right here.
