The Fastest Street-Legal Car: Modified Ford GT

Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage set out on a mission five years ago to build a car that could hit 300 mph. And it came close, getting up to 292.2 mph. Using that same 2006 Ford GT, owner and driver Johnny Bohmer along with Rawlings set out once again for a top-speed record at the Space Florida Launch and Landing Facility.
