Ultra Rare Corvette
The car we’re featuring today is one of the most collectible American sports cars of all time. Simply put, people just can’t get enough of this car. This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe continuation is listed for sale on Classic Autotrader for a staggering $209,995 and is without-a-doubt one of the coolest looking Corvettes we’ve seen. This car is of highest quality, and of course, style. Back in the early 60s, Chevy began “Project Lightweight” with the goal of building 125 models for homologation purposes. They wanted to compete with Ford and the Shelby Cobra. After GM leaders learned of the project, it was shut down and only 5 of the cars ever made it to fruition. Those cars are now in museums across the country and are worth millions. This car is one of the thirteen licensed continuation cars built by Duntov Motor Company. In 2009, Duntov acquired the blueprints and original body molds, and this car. Check it out, right here.
