Up Close And Personal: 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Convertible
Ahead of the new Z06 and ZR1 variants, Chevrolet will launch an all-new convertible version of the Stingray. The automaker released a teaser video, but this new spy video, (thanks to Brendan Macie on YouTube,) gives us a much closer look.
The car was spotted in a Detroit parking lot with a bit of camouflage on the roof and decklid. It looks similar to the coupe, aside from the rear and folding hardtop. The exterior appears to be Sebring Orange, and thanks to the camera skills of Brendan Macie, we get a look at the interior as well.
The C8 Corvette will likely use a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine, the same one as the coupe, which send 490 horsepower to the rear wheels thanks to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Watch the video and you just might be able to here that V8 rumble as one lucky man drives it off into the sunset. Enjoy.
