Watch This Camaro ZL1 1LE Attempt A New Record

So we already know that the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is impressive. Very impressive. But the ZL1 LE has arrived, and things are about to get more interesting. Lucky for us, YouTube spotters have managed to capture footage of the Camaro ZL1 1LE at Nurburgring as it attempts to beat the ZL1’s time of 7 minutes and 29.6 seconds. From the looks of it, we’re pretty sure it happened. The video seems like it’s Chevy’s official Ring lap attempt, so we won’t be surprised if we hear some good news fairly soon.

The Camaro ZL1 1LE comes with the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque as the ZL1. Only difference is the ZL1 LE adds even more aerodynamics to increase speed. Check it out:
