World’s Fastest Muscle Car: 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock
Move over, Dodge Demon. Enter, Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock. The Demon was designed and built for the drag strip. But Dodge always has a way of out-doing themselves. Meet the 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock, the car that Dodge claims is, “the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car.” Under the hood of this beast is the same supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 that powers the SRT Hellcat Redeye. With the V8 is a TorqueFlite 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission, producing a total of 807 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque.
Other Super Stock Specs:
- Widebody chassis
- Brembo brakes
- New suspension that shifts weight to the rear tires
- Wheel and drag radial combination
- 18-inch wheels
Considering all of the above, it’s not so shocking that the speed times are insane. The Super Stock can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.25 seconds, do the quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds at 131 mph, and reach a top speed of 168 mph. So, what’s your take? Are you team Demon or team Super Stock?
