1959 Corner-Carving Apache
The 1959 Chevrolet Apache is far from your run-of-the-mill farm truck. Part of Chevy’s “Task Force” fleet, the Apache Fleetside pickup was a little more polished. This truck’s main design feature was its “jet pod” side sculpture (actually inspired by the aircraft). It came with the usual payload ratings, double-wall steel cargo box, and ultra-wide tailgate. A 6.5-foot bed came standard but an 8.3-foot bed was an option. Power came from a 235-cid V6 or 283-cid V8. After you load this truck up, take it around some corners – it won’t disappoint.
