2018-2019 Mustang GT Gets The New Ford Supercharger
Ford announced back in 2017 that a new supercharger kit would be available for the 2018 Ford Mustang GT. The supercharger would offer 700 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque. The expected delivery date? 2018. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but the supercharger is now available for 2018 and 2019 models.
The kit delivers the promised 700-hp with a 2.65-liter TVS positive displacement supercharger with 12 psi of boosted air to the engine. Other goodies include new fuel rails, injectors, an air-to-water intercooler and a bigger throttle body. The kit costs $7,699 and is emissions compliant in all 50 states. If you want the kit as well as the 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on the parts, you’ll have to get it installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician.
