Legendary Corvette Grand Sport Remade

A Corvette not built by Chevrolet? Seems blasphemous, but maybe this Grand Sport remake was meant to break the mold. Built by Superformance with permission from GM, the Grand Sport you see above is completely legit. Yes, changes have been made but the Corvette soul is all there. For Superformance, it’s all about the blend of old and new. This car has been redesigned with a round tube frame as opposed to the box frame. Any iron or steel used on the original Grand Sport has turned to plastic or aluminum for the sake of speed. The company also modified the tires: modern rubber to hold all of the power. Whether you’re for or against the modifications, you can’t argue that the final product is a thing of beauty:
