Barn Find: The American Jet Seagrave
This is not your typical barn find. You’re looking at an American Jet Seagrave back from the dead. When Bernie Kranz stopped at a yard sale he never expected to leave with a car – let alone a prototype. According to the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946-1975 just three Seagrave coupes were built as prototypes and this is one of them. This Seagrave sat under a tarp for years before Kranz took it home. When asked what he plans to do with this rare find, Kranz said he would like to get it running in its current state. Though we’re not getting a full restoration any time soon, keep an eye out for this classic on the road.
