This Custom Corvette Z06 Packs Serious Power
In fact, it might be more powerful than the new ZR1. The ZR1 packs a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 LT5 producing 755-hp, making it the most powerful Corvette ever made, and not to mention the fastest. But, as expected, there’s always a power crazed tuner that has a vision of one-upping even the fastest and most powerful of cars. Enter, German tuner GeigerCars. GeigerCars has revealed a custom track-ready Corvette based on the limited edition Z06 Carbon 65. The tuner has cranked up the sports car’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 to a monstrous 759 hp and 729 lb-ft of torque.
Here’s a breakdown of the updates GeigerCars made to the already wild Carbon 65 Edition:
-Added more lightweight carbon fiber material to shed even more weight
-A new body kit features the carbon fiber, a front spoiler, a revised front grille, and new air intakes
-Added a sub-frame with an integrated diffuser
-Replaced the factory-installed 1.7-liter Eaton supercharger compressor with a more powerful 2.3-liter screw-type compressor
-Modified the throttle valve, intake system and the engine’s software
The results? the 759-horsepower Corvette Z06 Carbon 65 Edition can go 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 209 mph. Oh, and did we mention it’s absolutely gorgeous? See for yourself:
