In the midst of quirky car ads and marketing schemes we’re throwing it back to a better time. Take some time to scroll through the ads that started it all. From Ford to Corvette and even classic Datsun – which ad makes you wish you could turn back the clock?
Back in the day, Ford carried out plenty of research to determine who would be buying new cars. They found that the post-World War II baby boom provided a market full of young, affluent people – the focus of Ford’s first Mustang campaign.
The Packard Caribbean Hardtop was deemed “The Greatest Packard of Them All.” These ads boldly told buyer to “behold the incomparable.”
