This Ford F-22 Raptor Sold For $300,000
At auction, that is. The one-of-a-kind truck has a slew of goodies that make it the most extreme Raptor we’ve seen. This set of wheels are inspired by (and named after) the fighter jet Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor.
Noteworthy features include:
-A Whipple-Intercooler 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 good for 545 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque
-A Modified Addictive Desert Design front suspension and bump stop kit
-Upgraded Alcon six-piston calipers with oversized rotors and high-friction pads
-Cat-back Borla exhaust system
-Innov8 Racing custom forged beadlock wheels
-Falcon Wildpeak tires
Woah. We know this sounds awesome, but is it worth $300K? With that kind of money you could buy five regular Raptor trucks. The standard Raptor churns out a solid 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque thanks to its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6. But, in this instance, the proceeds went to a good cause. The auction took place is Oshkosh, Wis., at the Experimental Aircraft Association Gathering of the Eagles. The proceeds will benefit youth aviation programs. Check it out:
