Gorgeous Cadillac Escala Concept
Historically, Cadillac designs and builds brilliantly stunning concepts. Downside is, they are usually on display for a few months and then sent to a warehouse only to gather dust. So in this instance, we are a bit skeptical. Cadillac brought the Escala to this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show and thanks to our friends over at CarBuzz, they were there with a video camera on hand. This video shows us first hand the finer details of the Escala before it gets sent away. Seperate from the CT6 flagship sedan, the Escala features a five-door liftback design and much larger weels (22-inches, that is).
Cadillac threw in a few other concept-only features like the lower roofline and sleek and narrow side mirrors. They were, however, able to add in a few retro pieces. Such as the steering wheel design. Bottom line: We’d love to see Cadillac build this Escala. But reality is, it’ll most likely only serve as a styling inspiration.
