This Might Be The Craziest Rumor About The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
Up to this point, there have been more than a few rumors circulating about the details of the Challenger SRT Demon. But this one might just take the cake. The latest talk of the town is that the Demon will make 1,024-HP. Yes, you read that right. Now, we can’t promise you this is 100% true, as our source is Instagram account thedarkeststride.
We have the mini series of teaser videos to thank for the rumor trains up until now. The goodies presented to us thus far are impressive but, the rumored 757-horse power under the hood doesn’t exactly get us shaking in our boots (that would only be 50 hp more than the Challenger Hellcat). News to us is the Demon will come with three power modes. The first will crank out the 757 horsepower, while Power Mode 2 will supply 815 horsepower. Turn things up to Power Mode 3 and you get the full 1,023 horsepower, provided all driving conditions are ideal. The Instagram responsible for this leak also mentions that buyers will need to install a $3,000 Performance Control Module from the Demon Crate. Stay tuned for confirmation on this (seemingly never-ending) rumor mill that is the Challenger SRT Demon.
