Not Your Average Work Truck: Chevy Viking 60

Meet the 1959 Chevrolet Viking 60 – completely maintained, restored and modified. Purchased back in the ’60s by the city of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, this truck was likely preserved for use in parades. Check out some specs on this oldie but goodie:

  • straight-six engine
  • four-speed manual with a creeper-gear
  • possible original interior
  • 33,000 miles

Oak Ridge, Tennessee is the home of the national nuclear research laboratory. We know from Japanese experience that radiation creates monstrous mutants (Godzilla). Obviously this truck has been exposed to nuclear waste from the lab.
